This is a red 1/24 scale Mercer slot car made by Renwal Products. Inc. from Mineola NY in 1966. It represents what a 1966 Mercer would look like. This Mercer was a real slot car, not a converted model. Original Renwal Mercer body is molded in red with a white interior insert - not cut, cracked or broken. Plastic has a nice shine, good glass, chrome and original paper decals. Clean Renwal brass inline slot car chassis with correct 36D motor.

Porsche 718 Spyder - Metallic Silver

Here's a very nice 1/24 scale Porsche 718 Spyder custom slot car - built recently from all 1960's vintage slot car parts. Original Du-Bro Porsche 718 Spyder sturdy vac-formed body painted metallic silver and wearing vintage decals. Body is not cut, cracked or broken with a detail painted Cox driver figure on a card-stock interior insert. Anodized aluminum Dugans/Western slot car chassis that's been restored and modified to fit this body. Has NOS Mabuchi 36D motor, polished Cal-Car aluminum wheels, narrow fronts with vinyl tires and wider rears with soft rubber tires. Weighted drop arm and floating front axle improve handling.

Alfa Romeo Canguro w/Original Box

Above is a 1/24 scale Alfa Romeo Canguro with the original box, made by Atlas in 1966. This is a rare car, built near the end of production for Atlas slot cars. The box lid reads Alfa Romeo "Conguro" when it should read "Canguro". Atlas Canguro slot car body molded in red with interior insert. Body not cut or cracked, good chrome and glass, driver detail painted and vintage decals. Chassis mounting posts on body align to chassis properly, but spacers were added to raise body slightly. Clean and straight, Atlas galvanized steel inline slot car chassis with Atlas 16D motor. Aluminum wheels with plastic "mag" inserts.

Monogram '58 T-Bird

This is a 1/24 scale 1958 Ford Thunderbird slot car. The original slot by Monogram was molded in white and built in 1964. The cool mint green Thunderbird pictured above is a 1970's Monogram re-issue of the original. Body not cut or cracked with nice chrome and glass. Front and rear chassis mounts original and painted to match body with painted interior insert and driver. Monogram Thunderbird brass inline chassis is clean and straight.
